CE marking
What is the CE marking?
The CE Marking was introduced by the European Commission, which establishes the conditions of its use within the different directives. With the CE Marking, the manufacturer or his representative within the European Union, declare that the individual product complies with the general safety regulations of the CE Marking Directives.
OBJECTIVE: To declare the conformity of the product with all the community requirements imposed on the manufacturer by the CE marking directives.
The CE marking on products constitutes a declaration that the product complies with all community provisions, and that the relevant conformity assessment procedures have been carried out.
The CE Marking is mandatory and must be affixed before a product subject to it is placed on the market or put into service, unless a specific directive provides otherwise.
